Dining Room Tall Cabinets with Bench Seat

This custom dining room built-in combines practicality with elegant design, creating a stunning focal point for the space. The completed project included:

Overall Dimensions: 108” wide, 108” high, and 18” deep.
Tall Cabinets: Two 24” wide, 99” high, and 18” deep cabinets.
A bench seat seamlessly integrated between the tall cabinets, adding both functionality and charm.

Cabinet Details:

Base Cabinets: Featuring double shaker-style doors with a center divider, one drawer, and one adjustable shelf. The base includes a furniture-style base with wrapped baseboards, blending beautifully with the room's architecture.

Upper Cabinets: Each includes a full-width open shelf (~6” height), double glass panel doors with mullions, and three adjustable interior shelves for ample display and storage space.

Finish:
The built-ins were painted in SW 7006 Extra White, a timeless and clean finish that brightens the space and complements the dining room's décor.

Installation Process:
As with all our projects, we began by carefully removing trim carpentry where the cabinets were to be installed, ensuring a precise fit. The cabinet boxes, faces, doors, drawers, and shelves were expertly anchored and assembled. We then reinstalled finish carpentry, including baseboards and shoe molding, and completed the project with caulking and paint touch-ups for a seamless look.
