A Murphy door creates a discreet opening within a built-in bookcase or cabinet wall. Raleigh Woodworks designs custom cabinet-style concealed doors that complement adjacent trim and cabinetry while making efficient use of your room.

We plan the opening, door swing, hardware clearances, and storage layout around the existing space. These are specialty built-in cabinet door systems, not a general interior door-hanging or structural remodeling service.

Popular options include:

  • Concealed bookcase-style door fronts

  • Shelving and display features

  • Custom paint or stain finishes

  • Cabinet proportions matched to nearby built-ins

  • Clearance and hardware planning

Schedule Your Free Consultation

Start with a complimentary 30-minute virtual consultation to discuss your project, approximate measurements, design ideas, and budget. After our conversation, we'll prepare a personalized ballpark estimate.

If you're comfortable with the estimated investment, the next step is our separate $250 On-Site Cabinetry Consultation & Design service, which includes field measurements, custom renderings, and two rounds of revisions. The design fee is already included in your ballpark estimate and is removed from your updated construction proposal once paid.
