The timeline for our cabinetry services is influenced by project complexity and our current workload. Generally, we strive to complete cabinet installation within 2-4 days from the start of the installation process.

To expedite the process, we construct and finish most cabinets in our shop, minimizing the time required within your space, unless otherwise specified.

What materials do you use to build your cabinets?

Our cabinets are crafted from premium materials including birch, maple, poplar, oak, and either MDF or HDF, selected based on the project's requirements to guarantee both durability and aesthetic appeal.

Are there ways to adjust the design to meet my budget?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We can recommend material or design adjustments—like simplifying moldings, adjusting drawer count, or modifying door styles—while still maintaining the craftsmanship and quality we’re known for.

What parts of my cabinetry can you customize?

Accepted Answer

You can personalize nearly every detail, including the layout, dimensions, wood species, paint colors, finishes, and hardware. Raleigh Woodworks designs your cabinetry to fit your space, style, and day-to-day needs.

Question 5

Can you show me a 3D preview before production starts?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our $250 On-Site Cabinetry Consultation & Design service includes field measurements, custom cabinetry renderings, and up to two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions are billed at $150 per hour. We'll review and finalize your design before your project is released for production.

Can you match existing cabinetry or finishes in my home?

In most cases, yes. We’ll work closely with you to match the style, color, and finish of existing cabinetry as closely as possible.

Do you use soft-close hardware?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All of our cabinetry includes soft-close doors and drawers as a standard feature.

Do you handle both build and installation?

Yes. All of our cabinetry is built and finished in-house and installed by our team to ensure a perfect fit and finish.

Can you coordinate with my electrician, countertop fabricator, or other trades?

Accepted Answer

Raleigh Woodworks specializes in cabinetry and interior trim carpentry. Electrical work is performed by a licensed electrician and can be coordinated through Raleigh Woodworks when included in the approved project scope, with an additional project management fee. Countertop fabrication, plumbing, and other trades are arranged separately by the homeowner or general contractor. We'll communicate installation requirements to help everyone plan their work.

Can I choose between face-frame and frameless cabinetry?

Yes. We offer both face-frame and frameless cabinetry, and we’ll help you choose the style that best matches your design goals, storage needs, and overall look. If you’re not sure which option is right for you, we can walk you through the differences during your consultation.
